ArchiHaus is a new company with a different approach to sustainable development.
ArchiHaus has been established to promote a new an innovative approach to working with local communities to help them meet the social, economic and environmental challenges they are currently facing.
Our vision is to create new ‘living village’ developments, within existing towns and villages, to enhance the long term viability and resilience of local communities, and transform the quality and energy efficiency of housing provision in the UK.
We are based in Herefordshire, where we live and work, and will initially develop our vision by working with Herefordshire communities that are local to us. We are also currently exploring potential projects throughout England and Wales
Archihaus has been formed by Jonathan Hines and Lars Carlsson, in partnership with one of the UK’s leading sustainable architects, Architype (www.architype.co.uk).
