Jonathan Hines

Jonathan Hines is the managing director of Architype Ltd, one of the UK’s leading sustainable architectural practices.

Jonathan and his wife Hilary moved to Herefordshire in 1996, and established a new office of Architype, which in 2006 moved into a sustainably converted barn on the Duchy of Cornwall estate.

Jonathan was voted the “most influential architect driving forward sustainability’ in an online poll in 2009, and in 2012 was named in the top 50 people most influencing sustainable development in the UK.

Lars Carlsson

Lars and his wife Christina retired to Herefordshire in 2007, when their daughter married a local farmer.

Lars has a degree in Business Economy and was the managing director of the publicly quoted oil tanker company Concordia Maritime AB for 20 years.

Lars has been the chairman of Intertanko, the global tanker owner organisation and of SEAaT, Shipping Emissions Abatement and Trading – an environment group working to reduce harmful emissions from ships. Main partners are Shell, BP and ten large shipping companies.
